Free website speed test
We'll run a mobile speed test by default (you can also run desktop) using Google PageSpeed Insights. You'll see a lab score, Core Web Vitals-style timings, and real-visitor figures when Google has enough data. We don't keep the address or the results beyond a short-lived cache of about 10 minutes, used only so a repeat click does not call Google again. After that, the cache expires.
What this checks
- Lab test: a simulated run on a set device and network (Lighthouse), with a performance score, LCP, CLS, TBT, FCP and Speed Index.
- Real visitors: Chrome UX Report field data for LCP, INP and CLS when Google has enough samples.
- Top opportunities: up to five plain-English tips from the lab run.
This is a simulated lab test (and, when available, public real-visitor data from Google). It is not a guarantee of real-user speed or search ranking, and it is not a security audit. Scores can change between runs.
Test a site
Running the speed test… This can take up to a minute.

What your result means
- Lab test: how the page performed in Google's simulated test. Useful for finding fixes, but not the same as every visitor's experience.
- Real visitors: how the page has loaded for Chrome users over recent weeks, when Google has enough data. Small or new sites often show "not enough real-visitor data".
- Good Core Web Vitals (field): LCP at or under 2.5 seconds, INP at or under 200 milliseconds, CLS at or under 0.1.

FAQs
Is this the same as Google PageSpeed Insights?
We use Google's PageSpeed Insights API (Lighthouse for the lab test, and the Chrome UX Report for real visitors when available). We show a plain-English summary. Google does not endorse this site.
Why is mobile the default?
Most people browse on phones, and Google's ranking signals for speed use mobile Core Web Vitals. Desktop is a separate run if you want it.
Why do scores change between runs?
Lab tests vary with network conditions and what the page loads that moment. Treat the score as a guide, not a fixed grade.
Do you store my results?
No. Results are shown in your browser. We don't keep the address or the results beyond a short-lived cache of about 10 minutes, used only so a repeat click does not call Google again. After that, the cache expires. See our Privacy notice.
